1. Brighton Promenade and Seafront Attractions

Kicking off the top Brighton and Hove attractions is the Brighton promenade. A Grade II-listed pier stretching across the famous shingle beach, the Brighton Palace Pier is quite simply majestic. Having stood proud for over a century, tourists and locals come to admire the decorative ironwork that’s survived world wars, raging storms and millions of eager visitors.

Continuing along the promenade you’ll reach the pinnacle of Brighton’s seafront attractions. Boasting arcade games, thrilling fairground rides and food stalls, it’s a wonderful place to get your seaside fix.

 2. Royal Pavilion and Brighton Museum

This imposing palace is difficult to miss. Just a few steps off the beach in Brighton, the Royal Pavilion is a sight to behold. Inspired by Indian architecture, you’ll gaze in wonder at the peaks and spires of this incredible building, built especially for King George IV

Either stroll around at your leisure or take a guided tour to bring the history of this monumental former royal residence to life. Once you’ve snooped around, be sure to check out the Brighton Museum too. It’s packed to the brim with art, porcelain and ceramics from a bygone era.

3. SEA LIFE Brighton

Fancy a trip to the world’s oldest aquarium? Look no further than the fascinating SEA LIFE Centre, one of the best attractions in Brighton. This famous Brighton tourist attraction will allow you to discover creatures great and small, learning a little along the way.

Walking through the impressive gothic arches, it’s hard not to be impressed entering this wonderful building.

If you’re feeling brave, head to the lagoon and watch the stingrays glide across the water. Alternatively, make your way to the interactive rockpool where you can reach out and touch a starfish or sea anemone.

4. British Airways i360

As Brighton attractions go, this is one of the coolest. The British Airways i360 Viewing Tower, also known as the Brighton i360 or the Brighton tower, is the city’s tallest structure. Climbing to a colossal 450-feet tall, this seafront tower opened its doors in 2016 as the world’s first vertical cable car.

As the tallest moving observation tower in the world, this “vertical peer” is ready to whisk 200 people up high for panoramic views of the city. Why not be one of them?
